Lucas Lechowski started his musical journey as a classical violinist at the age of four. Lechowski eventually graduated from the Conservatory of Music in Katowice, Poland, with an MA in Jazz Violin Performance, a BA in Classical Violin Performance, and an MA in Jazz Guitar Performance.


After Conservatory Lechowski toured Europe and the United States with symphony orchestras and ensembles, playing a wide range of musical styles, including classical, jazz, rock and more.


In the field of composition Lechowski has scored over 50 projects, for feature films, television, documentaries and theatre plays. He wrote music for several Virtual Reality Experiences, including IN THE CLOUD for Sony Music. Lechowski scored short films that garnered two Student Academy Award nominations and one win. He scored commercials for Dolby, Adobe and Ikea, among others, and composed the music for a two-hour NBC special hosted by Tom Brokaw, commemorating the 50th anniversary of President Kennedy’s death.


Lechowski released several solo albums of original music, and his music is featured in several compilations, including the classical series MILLENNIAL MASTERS. He was commissioned to write music for a permanent, modern art installation at the Baltimore Museum of Art.


Lechowski is a Fellow of the Sundance Institute Composers Lab, and is a Berlinale Talents alumnus. He was selected for leading film scoring workshops, including ASCAP/Columbia University Film Scoring Workshop, the NYU/ASCAP Television & Film Scoring Workshop, and the Society of Composers and Lyricists Mentorship Program. 


Lechowski currently lives in Los Angeles, California.
